From hitting the gyms to maintaining a strict diet, the Ollywood stars have become more fitness conscious than before. Despite their gruelling work schedule, these stars always find time to sweat it out at the gym and set an example for the young generation. What does fitness mean to You ?

Fitness to me is to eat right and be active.  I believe in physical activities that should have a combination of strength, flexibility and endurance. Fitness does not mean a body sculpted in a gym. One should try and be in shape  either by playing sports or just being physically active. Fitness is a good mix of a balanced lifestyle, good diet, good sleeping patterns and a healthy mind.

Tell us About Your Daily fitness Routine ?

Move your legs, walk 10,000 steps, drink 2-3 litres of water every day and eat more veggies. It’s that simple. One fitness mantra is to have lots of fun while working out. So if you find the gym boring, try Zumba  dance.

Akshya Kumar is my fitness model.

What does fitness mean to You ?

Fitness to me is staying healthy. I enjoy tennis a lot plus it helps me to stay fit. One should try and be healthy and make the right choices for your body. It means exercising and eating right.

Tell us About Your Daily fitness Routine ?

I go by a very strict diet. I do not take any junk food and drink a minimum of 6-7 litres of water daily. I prefer food with high fiber and protein. My  workouts include cardio, litte weight training and yoga.I love to dance which keeps me fit too. A goodnight sleep is very important if you need your body to perform your best.

What does fitness mean to You ?

Fitness to me is being active. If you’re not active then you wouldn’t be considered healthy, because you’re not burning all the calories you’ve eaten. I like walking and jogging. Also, if the weather is good I like riding my bike.

Tell us About Your Daily fitness Routine ?

My fitness matra is my morning walk followed by some yoga asana. I walk 3 to 4 km every morning, it activates my body muscles. For me proper healthy diet is most important as I believe fitness is based on 70% diet and 30% workout. So I avoid taking junk food. I don’t smoke or drink, wake up early and go to bed by 10 and most importantly I try to stay positive and uncomplicated. Eat healthy, take enough rest and work out .

Who is Your icon When it comes to fitness ?

I never follow any one as my fitness Model, I can say I am the Model of myself.

Fitness to me is to do something that involves excercise. I enjoy working out at the gym and running. It helps me to stay active and healthy.

When it comes to acting you do not get lot of time. But in the free time I try to hit the gym regularly. So that I can release all the stress that comes with this profession. Finding the right gym for your fitness is tricky and I am lucky enough at STAYFIT. You need a good gym with well maintained equipments and certified trainers. Who can help you with your work out.
